Tim's Power Tips
Power Tip #1
Safari Bookmarks
Did you know you can access your bookmarks from the
keyboard? You can! That's pretty cool - how does Tim do
that? See your bookmarks in the bookmark bar? The first one
is Command + 1 ( the command key and the one key at the
same time.) If a bookmark is really a dropdown bookmark,
the command shortcut skips over it.
Power Tip #2
Safari Tabbed
Browsing
Hey! Some folks like tabbed browsing. It makes them feel
all warm and efficient. And some folks want to use the
KEYBOARD to go from tabbed window to tabbed window. Is it
possible? Yep. Try Shift + Left arrow. Or Shift + Right
arrow. See? Neat, huh?
Tip Encore!
Inspectors
A lot of us are used to using the Inspector to create great
documents. Wouldn't it be great to have multiple tabs from
your Inspector open at the same time? See settings here,
make changes over there, etc.
Well, Option-clicking an Inspector tab opens the inspector
tab in a new window. Very nice.
iPhone Moments
Introduction: New to Tim's Tips are iPhone Moments. These
momentous moments will be shared with us from time to time
as we learn to appreciate the iPhone and its cosmic
game-changing existence. Now, back to Show Notes.
Tim shared with us a couple of great iPhone moments. Don't
worry if you missed them, he will have a couple of more
next month!
