Tim's Power Tips
Power Tip #1
Touch
Typing
This first tip is one of the many cool keyboard shortcuts
that allows us to keep typing without having to reach for
the mouse. In iTunes Tim types the first few letters of
where he wants to navigate and iTunes goes there. It's like
it's reading my mind, er, Tim's mind. That's it - another
simple mouseless way to navigate.
Power Tip #2
Inspectors
Inspectors are popping up everywhere. Pages, Keynote,
Numbers, etc. Very handy, these Inspectors, but sometimes
we get tired of switching back and forth between all the
Inspectors that we need. Why can't we have multiple
Inspectors? Why haven't they thought of that? Well, they
have!! Our good friend the Option key comes to the rescue.
When you click on a button to navigate to a new Inspector
panel, try Option-clicking. Look! A whole new Inspector
window opens up with the panel you selected. Show Notes
likes that. Show Notes thinks it needs a bigger monitor
this Christmas.
